What could you do differently?

First, I would like to give a shoutout to Daily Prompt for always having a prompt for us bloggers/ writers to do. Even if we bypass the prompts it is nice to know that if ever have writers’ block we always have something to keep our gifts from shrivelling up.

Second, what can I do different?

Keep Better Track of Things Last year, I incorporated a planner into my daily life. Since I began scribbling away in this handy, dandy notebook I have done a better job of keeping up with appointments; birthdays; chores; and church events.

Today, I went a step further by buying a physical calendar. Why not stick to the calendar on my phone, because I feel like I’ve grown too dependant on this gadget that too easily can become an idol.

Also, I would love to stop misplacing items. Today I did lose something, but instead of staying in my feelings, I immediately went to get it replaced. To ensure I can keep up with all my stuff, the following can be done.

• Keeping the bedroom tidy
• Removing all items from my pocket when I get home.
• Having designated spots for specific items.

Less Phone Time

As I was writing this paragragh I had to place my phone on a nightstand just so I could stay focused. I can take a break from watching youtube videos and hilarious TikToks. My life does not have to be documented or compared to those on social media. Though I am too paranoid to turn my phone off for fear of someone needing me and not responding on time, I can at least place it out of arm’s reach when I want to get something done.

One Task At a Time I can multitask when I need to for a job, but on personal time I prefer the opposite so I can give my all to a single objective.

Pushing Out More Content This is my second post of 2025. I am determined to keep up the pace. If i had a cheerleader team they would be chanting C-O-N-S-I-S-T-E-N-C-Y!!!! I know not all I put in the world is going to be an attention grabber, but at the end of the day I love writing. I love putting out work that is encouraging, motivating, inspiring and loving. May God enable me to keep these creative juices flowing.
