Snow Sabbatical

When I say late I mean this is long past, as in January. I’m tired of seeing this in my drafts, so let’s imagine slippery roads and millions and millions of snowflakes soaring through the sky.

January.

Scripture says we may labor for six days and rest on the seventh day of the week. The inclement weather and hazardous road conditions caused me to do a bit of a twist and flip. I only worked my job one day of the week. Praise to my friend Jesus for.

Our power did go off, but only for a couple minutes. Talk about akward when you’re cooking like a lobster in a relaxing bubble bath.

God is quite the artist and architect. One day I bundled up and carefully stepped unto the slippery ice and snow to glimpse at the white, crystallized world. Some trees were naked while others still wore their brown leaves, now glossed over in snow and ice, along with their branches.

Hot chocolate warned me up as I cozied inside. Next time I gotta better prep by including some gelatin free marshmellows to float inside the sweet chocolate.

Baby H got to experience snow for the first time. She recently recovered from a cold so we didn’t keep her out there but for about 10 minutes.

As our daughter napped and Courtni worked remote home, I worked on college classes. So much information. It’s quite the challenge when you have a baby who wants to play as you’re trying to absorb knowledge.
