My Apologies

Hello friends and family. My apologies for my inconsistency with my blogging. For the last two Saturday Serene Saturday has been MIA.

Two Saturdays ago, I was out celebrating Mothers Day with my brother Mike, my dad, and my mom of course. It’s always great to see my oldest brother. Out of all my siblings I see him the most because he lives 3 hours away.

The next day I wrote Mom a letter, telling her how much I loved her. She read it as we were sitting on the swing, which Dad, myself, my siblings, and sister in law all chipped in on. The chair was a major accomplishment for us because we(the kids) never agree on anything together. I guess Mom and Dad are the exception.

Last Saturday, I had intended to blog after church movie night, but after the film we all got caught up in a conversation. Typical church folk, right? Always gotta hang around the church even after something is done. By the time I got home it was nearly 11:00, so I crashed. I cry on the inside if I don’t reach my own deadline. Luckily for me I’m in control of what goes on my blog and when.

I hope you all like the new header image for my blog. If you’re looking to make something like this I highly recommend the apps Canva and LiveCollage. You can find them in the App Store on your phone.

To all my new followers, I would like to say, “welcome to my blog”. My name is David. I talk about whatever I feel moved to share. Anything from my everyday life to God’s words. Thank you for following me. I look forward to reading more of everyone’s work. It’s challenging keeping up with over 70 followers, but I’m never bored with it. You’re all awesome. I’ll catch up with all of you soon, I got more stuff coming at you. How was everyone’s weekend? I wanna know.

God bless and have a good day.

By David Harris

I was born on January 31, 1992. I graduated from Austin Peay State University in December 2015 with a B.S. My major was Communications, with a concentration in Print & Web Journalism. My minor was English, with a concentration in Creative Writing. Writing is my passion. I’m a book lover. I prefer to to be called a Booklion rather than a bookworm. Why- lions are mightier.
My first love is Jesus Christ. I was raised in the Seventh-Day Adventist Church. No we are not a cult. We are Christians who worship on Saturday.
I have been stuttering since I was four, but through Christ I have persevered through it and will continue to do so. I’m not thing with Him.
Singing is another passion of mine. God blessed with me with the gift of song, which I am grateful for.
