Good morning friends and family. I hope everyone is in a good mood As some of you may have heard, I recently had a job interview for The Paris Post Intelligencer, a newspaper publication in Paris, Tennessee. That interview was last Friday. While I thought my meeting with the editor went fairly well, I was informed yesterday that I didn’t get the job. As impressive as my resume was, it was test I took at the end that bested me. I have to work on my spelling and copy editing skills.
I will admit that I am a bit disappointed, but on a scale of 1 to 10 on how disappointed, I would say that I’m at 2. Now I know what to expect the next time I apply at any newspaper publication. This won’t be the last time I apply for one. And why limit myself to newspapers. I’ll continue applying for other jobs within my field as well.
I’m just thankful that someone gave me a chance. I’m grateful that God blessed me with a golden opportunity. Yesterday morning, on the way to work, I thanked Him, and asked for more opportunities if I didn’t succeed in the one He just gave me. Just as one of my coworkers was saying to me last night, when one door closes, two more open.
I have to believe that God is preparing me for something even better. Maybe He wants me to use this time to better myself. That is exactly what I’m going to do. I’ll keep praying. I’ll be patient, and I’ll keep persevering.
Thank you for reading, and have a wonderful day.

Oh too bad David. This was God preparing you for something greater. Just take the corrections and try again
