Happy Anniversary to Me

Hey friends and family. It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything. As I said in my last post, I needed some time to clear my head and recharge. I’m about ready to get back to it. But first, I’m happy to share with you that today is my Blog Anniversary!!!!

I can’t believe it’s been an entire year already since I first started my blog David Speaks. I remember how long it took for me to decide on a name before my mother gave me a good and simple idea. I remember racking my brain about what I should write about as my first blog post. I remember how thrilled I was by the views and feedback I received when I published my first blog post. I remember first praying to God that He would continue to give me more ideas to write about. He kept his promise, and I thank Him: Here I am 119 posts later.

Thank you to all of you who read my work, even if you’ve just checked out my blog once and decided “Yeah I’m never looking at this blog again”. Your views are highly appreciated. Your feedback is a plus. To all my fellow bloggers, continue to write on and be outstanding. You all inspire me to write as often as possible and be comfortable talking about whatever is on my mind.

To all newcomer bloggers and those thinking about blogging, I encourage you to write what you know; take your time; be comfortable; give yourself breaks; and not be competitive. I will definitely elaborate more into these tips in an upcoming post.

Have a good night. God Bless, and thank you!

I was born on January 31, 1992. I graduated from Austin Peay State University in December 2015 with a B.S. My major was Communications, with a concentration in Print & Web Journalism. My minor was English, with a concentration in Creative Writing. Writing is my passion. I’m a book lover. I prefer to to be called a Booklion rather than a bookworm. Why- lions are mightier.
My first love is Jesus Christ. I was raised in the Seventh-Day Adventist Church. No we are not a cult. We are Christians who worship on Saturday.
I have been stuttering since I was four, but through Christ I have persevered through it and will continue to do so. I’m not thing with Him.
Singing is another passion of mine. God blessed with me with the gift of song, which I am grateful for.
