Giving Thanks To My Friend

Hello and Happy Good Friday friends and family. For some, today is a day to get out of work or out of school to take some time to breathe. To many like myself, it is a day to commemorate perhaps the most ultimate act of love which was done by one man many years ago. That man’s name is Jesus, and he put his life on the line, on a cross, so all of us wouldn’t have to die for screwups.

I want to thank Jesus for what he did for me and everyone. I don’t know if I could endure what he went through. To be spat down, insulted, bruised, and pierced right in front of the ones who cared about me. But I’m glad he did what he did. He is the one being I can talk to everyday and feel like I’m not just boring to death. Any other person would probably tell me to “suck it up”; “be a man”; or “move on”, but not him. I also want to thank him for taking me this far in life. He’s with me whenever I speak. I have my own blog, which he constantly gives me ideas for. I have a job which pays for everything I do. And I have people in my life who encourage, inspire, and care about me.

Today, take the take time to thank our wonderful loving savior for all he does for you. Enjoy your Easter weekend and try not to get too many cavities and belly aches from the candies. That chocolate though.

Later.✌🏾😊

I was born on January 31, 1992. I graduated from Austin Peay State University in December 2015 with a B.S. My major was Communications, with a concentration in Print & Web Journalism. My minor was English, with a concentration in Creative Writing. Writing is my passion. I’m a book lover. I prefer to to be called a Booklion rather than a bookworm. Why- lions are mightier.
My first love is Jesus Christ. I was raised in the Seventh-Day Adventist Church. No we are not a cult. We are Christians who worship on Saturday.
I have been stuttering since I was four, but through Christ I have persevered through it and will continue to do so. I’m not thing with Him.
Singing is another passion of mine. God blessed with me with the gift of song, which I am grateful for.
