When Will He Provide?

I have learned and seen firsthand that God is a provider to man. From the roofs over our heads to the air in our lungs. One thing that will forever intrigue me about the nature of God is when He provides.

Sometimes God wants us to stop trying to make something happen ourselves and just trust that He will take care of us or others. Once we’ve done all we can on our own all we can do now is communicate with Him in the name of Christ Jesus, leaving it in His hands. We may want things to happen on our own time, but I have learned that If we dwell too much on the when, we will only disappointment ourselves day by day when we don’t wake up to what we are desiring. Even worse, we can lose sight of everything that we do have in our lives. Good things happen when we are patient.

If you don’t receive anything right away maybe you are not quite ready to have what you are looking for, or maybe God has something better in store for you. Do you have the qualifications necessary for this job? Ask yourself if you love yourself first before jumping into a relationship or even further. Can you really afford that big, beautiful mansion now? Can you wisely manage that amount of money you are hoping to get your hands on?

When God does provide and answer our calls, it can be when we least expect it. Are we not overjoyed when you get a pleasant surprise? Is it not even more joyous when it is more than what we were asking for? For example, you can request for a job that pays at least $12 an hour, but you end up being blessed with a job that pays $15 an hour. Do you not feel completely overjoyed and grateful towards Him?

This relationship God has between us and Him is truly beautiful if you take the time to think about it. It’s the ideal relationship. If He answered our calls on our time, rather than His, the relationship would seem less loving and more like a relationship between a dictating boss and a coworker who is trying to meet deadlines or a genie only to be summoned from a tiny lamp when it’s owner needs a wish granted.

Good things happen in His time.

God Bless!

I was born on January 31, 1992. I graduated from Austin Peay State University in December 2015 with a B.S. My major was Communications, with a concentration in Print & Web Journalism. My minor was English, with a concentration in Creative Writing. Writing is my passion. I’m a book lover. I prefer to to be called a Booklion rather than a bookworm. Why- lions are mightier.
My first love is Jesus Christ. I was raised in the Seventh-Day Adventist Church. No we are not a cult. We are Christians who worship on Saturday.
I have been stuttering since I was four, but through Christ I have persevered through it and will continue to do so. I’m not thing with Him.
Singing is another passion of mine. God blessed with me with the gift of song, which I am grateful for.
