“Whoever guards his mouth and tongue keeps his soul from trouble.” – Proverbs 22:3 NKJV
I think one of the biggest flaws of humankind is that we are not careful with what we say. I know we can’t please everyone with our words, but we do not have to seek to hurt anyone either. Whoever said words can never hurt you must have been the most chill person ever, because the rest of us can be wounded by what comes out of another’s mouth. Think about all the situations that could’ve been avoided if someone hadn’t said a certain thing: a child being disciplined by parents for talking back, a teenager ending their life because of cyber bullying by fellow students, celebrities losing jobs over comments on social media, politicians making enemies of their nation by saying whatever they please.
As the scripture explains, watching what you say; thinking before you speak, will save you a lot of grief.
God Bless!

Amen! Yes this is do very true. I had my experiences with this in and out of church but God said we must forgive so I do just that π May we always choose our words wisely before we utter a word.
Blessings!
