Seven Day Scriptures: Day 2

If I can be completely vulnerable and honest with all of you, I do not consider myself be all wise. My life has not been a journey without missteps, poor choices, and a lesson learned from those decisions. I accept that I am never going be perfect.

While I can never be without fault like Jesus, I can however ask God for wisdom in all my daily works.

“If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all men liberally and without reproach, it will be given to him” – James 1: 5 NKJV

I love that in order to obtain wisdom from God, that I don’t have to pay a tuition or do something big in hopes that He’ll give me what I want. A simple request in prayer and meditation is all I need. Isn’t it also wonderful that unlike mankind, God will not belittle us for our lack of wisdom, but instead He will simply give it to us if we ask?

God Bless!

By David Harris

I was born on January 31, 1992. I graduated from Austin Peay State University in December 2015 with a B.S. My major was Communications, with a concentration in Print & Web Journalism. My minor was English, with a concentration in Creative Writing. Writing is my passion. Iโ€™m a book lover. I prefer to to be called a Booklion rather than a bookworm. Why- lions are mightier.
My first love is Jesus Christ. I was raised in the Seventh-Day Adventist Church. No we are not a cult. We are Christians who worship on Saturday.
I have been stuttering since I was four, but through Christ I have persevered through it and will continue to do so. Iโ€™m not thing with Him.
Singing is another passion of mine. God blessed with me with the gift of song, which I am grateful for.
