Seven Day Scriptures: Day 7

Good day everyone. For those of you who have been with me me for these full seven days, thank you so much for reading and letting me share these words with you. I got a blessing just by turning the pages of my Bible and searching for scriptures to share. I am well pleased I was able to be consistent with my blogging. I am more pleased that I was consistent doing something that love, which is talk about Christ. It reminded me of why I have my talents. I invite you all to give this a try. You may even use this header image I put together using free images from Unsplash and a collage app called LiveCollage.

My last scriptures I’m sharing just so happen to be Jesus’s last words to his disciples, the day he went back to his heavenly kingdom.

“And Jesus came and spoke to them saying, All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” -Matthew 28: 18-20 NKJV

Christ surely sensed that the disciples were feeling and would be feeling doubt about what trials they would face for speaking about him, so he left them with words of comfort and encouragement. Though he wouldn’t be with them in person, as they had. become so accustomed to, he assured them that he would be with them in spirit and in their hearts. His words were not just for disciples, but for everyone then, as well as all those who had not yet existed. Christ was with everyone then, and surely he is with us now.

God Bless and Happy Sabbath.

By David Harris

I was born on January 31, 1992. I graduated from Austin Peay State University in December 2015 with a B.S. My major was Communications, with a concentration in Print & Web Journalism. My minor was English, with a concentration in Creative Writing. Writing is my passion. I’m a book lover. I prefer to to be called a Booklion rather than a bookworm. Why- lions are mightier.
My first love is Jesus Christ. I was raised in the Seventh-Day Adventist Church. No we are not a cult. We are Christians who worship on Saturday.
I have been stuttering since I was four, but through Christ I have persevered through it and will continue to do so. I’m not thing with Him.
Singing is another passion of mine. God blessed with me with the gift of song, which I am grateful for.
