Blogging Challenge-Day 17: Goals for My Blog

Hello good friends and family. How is everyone doing today? I’m glad to talk to you guys, even if it is for a short while. If I haven’t had as much time to read and give feedback to your latest work, I apologize. I’ll get to all of you as soon as possible. Reading your work never gets old!!!

As you can see it is no longer June 17, but better late than never right? What are my goals for my blog?

To Grow As A Writer Growth is always good. When I first started this blog my intent was to better myself. I feared as I was no longer in English classes, that my skills would fade away as I was working in non field jobs. I also wanted to expand my horizon. I had already written for student publications, creative writing club, English classes, and a magazine internship. A blog seemed like the perfect opportunity for further expansion. If ever find job that requires a lot of writing and web experience, I believe I’ll be prepped and ready for it.

Voice Myself I enjoy speaking to others, particularly one on one conversations. But as I’m out in world I find that I enjoy much more hearing what others have to say before going on about myself. Does my stutter have anything to do with that- very little now . I’m not afraid to speak, but people tend to interrupt me and not be patient as I try to get my words out. As I’m blogging, I can voice myself as much as I want to with zero interruptions.

Connect The more bloggers and reader who follow me, the more opportunity it is to get feedback from others towards my writing. I can find out what works and what could be better.

Inspire Others..

  • To express themselves however they choose.
  • To not stop reading.
  • To not let anything stop them from pushing forward in life.
  • To make wise choices.
  • To be the best person they can be.
  • To respect one another.
  • To not be afraid to voice themselves.
  • To love others.
  • To lean towards our Heavenly Father whenever they need to.

What are your goals for you blog? Don’t be shy. I care to know.

Have a good day, and God Bless.

By David Harris

I was born on January 31, 1992. I graduated from Austin Peay State University in December 2015 with a B.S. My major was Communications, with a concentration in Print & Web Journalism. My minor was English, with a concentration in Creative Writing. Writing is my passion. I’m a book lover. I prefer to to be called a Booklion rather than a bookworm. Why- lions are mightier.
My first love is Jesus Christ. I was raised in the Seventh-Day Adventist Church. No we are not a cult. We are Christians who worship on Saturday.
I have been stuttering since I was four, but through Christ I have persevered through it and will continue to do so. I’m not thing with Him.
Singing is another passion of mine. God blessed with me with the gift of song, which I am grateful for.
