David’s Daily: 5/11/18

Hello everyone It’s been a couple of days since I last spoke to you all. How are you?

Last Saturday night, I went to a dance party to celebrate all the nurses for all of hard work they put in every day for the hospital; for the community. I had tons of fun. When I heard the theme was 1920s. I was all for making an appearance. I love to dance, and a couple of suits I own make me look like a gangster straight from that particular era. I was highly impressed by my friend Michele’s(the woman with the feather on her head) swinger outfit, as well as the other attire of all my other coworkers/staff members who I see on the regular at the hospital.

Best believe I turned up on the dance floor. By the end of the night I felt hot and sweaty from all the movement. I danced so hard that the strap to my watch broke. Not sure how one days that. I’m surprised my feet and legs were aching the next moment r I felt no pain in m legs. Guess my body is used to it. However, the I went straight to bed as soon as I got home

I’m currently in Miami with my brother Mike. We leave on our 3 day cruise today. Last night we walked around South Beach to see if anything was happening. Miami traffic seems to be insane, at least where we were after 10 pm. There were streetlights, but people seemed to ignore them 80 percent of the time. Folks were running red lights as well as walking across the street even when they weren’t cleared to. Aside from that, I enjoyed what little I saw as we walked.

I also wanted to inform you that for the next few days you may not hear from me. I may steer clear of social media while I’m on my cruise to the Bahamas to avoid the extra charge. I’ve never been on a cruise, nor have I ever been overseas, so this will be an exciting, new experience. I’ll be back soon with plenty to talk about, and I’ll catch up on your work as soon as I can. Pray for me please; I’ll pray for you.

God Bless.

I was born on January 31, 1992. I graduated from Austin Peay State University in December 2015 with a B.S. My major was Communications, with a concentration in Print & Web Journalism. My minor was English, with a concentration in Creative Writing. Writing is my passion. I’m a book lover. I prefer to to be called a Booklion rather than a bookworm. Why- lions are mightier.
My first love is Jesus Christ. I was raised in the Seventh-Day Adventist Church. No we are not a cult. We are Christians who worship on Saturday.
I have been stuttering since I was four, but through Christ I have persevered through it and will continue to do so. I’m not thing with Him.
Singing is another passion of mine. God blessed with me with the gift of song, which I am grateful for.
